Owen C. Wilcox

Owen C. Wilcox, a beloved father, son, brother and friend, passed away peacefully on April 11, 2026, at the Lebanon VA Medical Center. Born on July 27, 1956, in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, to the late Claude and Marie (Doyle) Wilcox, Owen lived a life marked by dedication to his country, commitment to his family, and a steadfast spirit that touched all who knew him.

Owen’s service to the United States as a Lance Corporal in the Marine Corps from 1975 to 1978 exemplified his sense of duty and honor. His time in the military was a defining chapter, demonstrating the discipline and courage that would guide him throughout his life.

He is lovingly remembered by his children and their families. His daughter Tara, along with her spouse Tanya, and daughter Lauren with her spouse Jeff, carry forward his legacy of kindness and resilience. His son Owen, together with his spouse Frances, also honors his memory. The joy Owen found in family extended to his grandchildren Bryant, Greyson, Owen Jr., Emma, and Aisling, whose lives he cherished deeply.

Owen is also mourned by his siblings, who shared in the bonds of childhood and adulthood: brother Claude, brother William, sister Marie, and brother Robert. Their collective memories of Owen reflect a life rich in love and shared experiences.
