Gregory J. Lynagh, 76, of Cleona, passed away suddenly on May 18, 2026. Born on June 19, 1949, he was the beloved son of the late John and Mary Lynagh. In March, Greg celebrated a remarkable milestone: 55 years of marriage to his loving wife, Candace (Miller) Lynagh. Together, they built a beautiful life and family. He will be deeply missed and forever remembered by Candace; his daughter Melissa Holland, her husband William, and their children Andrew and Brandon; his daughter Rebecca Lynagh; his son Erik Lynagh and his long-time companion Tracy Welter; and his sister Jane Dadey. Greg’s lifelong passion for radio began at WRAW in his hometown of Reading, Pennsylvania, before taking him to WLBR 1270 in Lebanon. For 40 years, listeners throughout the region knew and loved him as "Greg Lyons," the welcoming voice of the Lebanon Valley. Broadcasting each morning from the "Lyons Den," Greg brought energy, comfort, and entertainment to the community daily until his retirement in 2019. Greg had a sharp wit and a one-of-a-kind sense of humor. He loved to travel, always ready for a grand trip to the Great Smoky Mountains or a simple, spontaneous after-dinner drive with his family. There was so much more to him than just loving husband and dad, though to us that was his greatest role. Per his request, there will be no services or funeral.
